Take your time back.

Tymos blocks the apps that waste your time, and reminds you what you'd rather be doing. Every hour you win back is yours.

One email on launch day. Nothing else.

The Tymos Today screen: the day is still yours, 16 hours free before bed, under a lit temple

The Greeks had two words for time.

Chronos was the clock: hours that pass whether you use them or not. Kairos was the right moment, the hour that counts. Tymos is built to turn more of the first into the second.

How it works

Every gate is for something.

Other blockers stop at "you blocked three hours". Tymos asks what those hours were for, holds you to it, and keeps the record.

  1. Α′

    Close a gate

Choose the apps that pull at you, set the hour, and give it a reason. Training, a book, dinner with someone you love.

  2. Β′

    Meet the gate

Open a blocked app and the gate tells you a story first. Tantalus, reaching forever for fruit he never gets. Walk away and the time is yours. Still want in? One slow breath first, and your Circle hears about it.

  3. Γ′

    See what it became

Each gate ends with one question: did the hour go where you meant it to? Your week adds up to a record of real things. Three hours of reading. Two of training.

Inside Tymos

Built to be opened less.

Made to hold

When willpower isn't enough.

Circle

No one holds the roof alone.

On the Acropolis, six stone maidens carry one roof between them. Bring in the few people who'd notice if you slipped, and choose what they see.

Saying no is easier with witnesses.

  • Open a gate early and your Circle hears about it.
  • Hours are never shared.

Challenges

Light up thirty nights.

Odysseus steered home by the stars. Pick a daily limit and keep it, and each night you do lights one more star in your sky.

  • One challenge at a time, starting tonight.
  • Finished skies stay in your record.

Privacy

What you do on your phone stays on your phone.

On your iPhone

Your Screen Time and Apple Health data never leave your phone.

No ads, no selling

We don't sell your data or track you across other apps.

No AI

The coach is a fixed set of rules that runs on your phone.

Held in London

If you use Circle, your profile and posts are stored in the UK.

Questions

Before you ask.

When does Tymos launch?

Soon, on iPhone. Leave your email and we'll write once, on launch day.

Is it on Android?

Not yet. Tymos is built on Apple's Screen Time, which only exists on iPhone.

Can I get round a gate?

If you really try, yes. iOS lets anyone switch off Screen Time access in Settings, and no app can stop that. Tymos makes the honest route easier: one breath before a short unlock, and your Circle hears when a gate opens early. If access is switched off, Tymos tells you.

What can Tymos see?

Your Screen Time and Health data stay on your phone. The apps you block and the hours you spend in them are never sent anywhere. Only Circle, if you use it, keeps your profile and posts on our servers in London.

Does it use AI?

No. The coach is a fixed set of rules that runs on your phone, and nothing you do is sent to an AI service.

How do I cancel?

In Tymos, tap the person icon at the top right to open Profile, then scroll down to Manage subscription. Or on your iPhone in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
